This article details the minimum required to progress through the STATIC LINE JUMPS course.
I personnaly like it because every jump is an occasion to experiment a new challenge.

STAGE 1

2 X Stable Static line Descents (Video)
3 X Dummy Ripcord Pulls (Video)

Test for Packing Certificate, wich includes an ability on the part of teh student to carry out a pre-jump check on a set of equipement, must be passed before progressing to freefall.

1 X 3 Second freefall delay (see note)
1 X 5 Second freefall delay (Video)
1 X 10 Second freefall delay
1 X 15 Second freefall delay
1 X 15 Second freefall delay using altimeter
1 X 20 Second freefall delay
1 X 20 Second freefall delay with unstable exit (video)

Having Successfully completed this jump, student may use equipment fitted with throaway pilot chute. The briefing for a new deployment procedure must include a minimum of 15 minuutes cutaway drill in a suspended harness.
MINIMUM OPENING ALTITUDE FOR STAGE ON JUMPS IS 3000 FEET

STAGE 2

1 X 20 second freefall delay with dive exit. Aerial work to include locating and touching cutaway and reserve ripcord handle respectively during freefall.
1 X 20 second delay with Right 360 degrees turn
1 X 20 second delay with Left 360 degrees turn
1 X 20 second delay with Alternate turns
1 X 20 second delay with backloop, opening altitude to be 2500 feet

MINIMUM OPENING ALTITUDE FOR STAGE TWO IS 3000 FEET,
WITH EXCEPTION OF THE LAST JUMP IN STAGE TWO,
WHEN THE OPENING ALTITUDE WILL BE 2500 FEET.

STAGE 3

1 X 30 second delay with Track
1 X 30 second delay with ‘S’ Track
1 X 30 second delay with Wave-off and Max. Track
1 X 30 second delay, Half series, Wave-off and Max. Track
1 x Exit and deployment from 2500 feet

MINIMUM OPENING ALTITUDE ON STAGE THREE JUMPS IS 2500 FEET

NOTE:
The Briefing for freefall must be rigorus and include the following:
1. Adequate explaination of the deployment sequence for operating main parachute
2. Explainations of additionnal malfunctions that can occur on freefal equipment and how to deal with each.
3. A minimum of 15 minutes cutaway drill in suspended harness.

ALL BRIEFING DURONG THE STUDENT’S PROGRESSION MUST BE SIGNED OFF AS COMPLETED IN THE STUDENT’S LOGBOOK.
