County Cork – Ireland

Wide, Wilde and timeless. County Cork offers days of beautiful tours ad natural interest. I strongly recommend a visit.

Mundo Capoeira Evento 2019 – Batizado weekend

Needless to say that I can only recommend to try and experience what capoeira is, doesn’t really matter your age or body condition or else. The only outcome will be fun and motivation. This video is a subtle sample of activities and vibes shared at Mundo Capoeira Dublin, for more info you can go onto […]

Portrush and the Ulster before Brexit

This road looks familiar right? Compared to 10 years, everything was well revamped, well presented and I felt driving that people would actually care to maintain. There were a lot of investments in the north these days, specially in the tourism industry. Also, thanks to the beloved cinema industry who was so far a huge […]

Knowth and Newgrange

An eye opener! This is the only thing that came up to my mind after this visit. Even worse, this question: Human being knew a complex form of communication,  had an advanced knowledge of stars, calendar and meaning of life. Something happened between. 5200 years later we all end up with a rectangular piece of plastic […]

Mizen Head: the west of the west

One of the most extreme west end of Ireland, the peninsula would be very exposed to maritime elements. I paid the entrance for you (I know…) and let you appreciate the view. I personally found it over built and worse was to start a massive block of concrete and leaving it unfinished. Worse, it’s seem […]

Kinsale 2017

Some souvenirs from this colourful place on the south coast of County Cork.

Dublin and around

Did I ever mentioned that I am always happy to walk around this capital? I will leave here 21 pictures of my last trips there.

Random tour in the South

So I basically took the car and went in Glendalough, Cahir, Cashel and Kilkenny. Here are a couple of photos to illustrate how nice this idea was 🙂

The house of Father Ted

As a fan of the TV show, it is difficult to drive in county Clare and miss this famous house. If you have more time I also suggest to spare some time in Kilfenora. Between the Vaughan’s Pub and the lovely people from the surrounding accommodation, this will definitely be a good refreshing time.

Belfast before Brexit

A last tour in Belfast before things will get more complicated. This city is a dense blend of history, culture and it just doesn’t look like that at first. Driving in town will first look “small” but the more you spend time, the more you need time to decrypts all symbols.

The Beara Peninsula

The the west of county Cork, the Beara Peninsula will charm you with its view, people and quiet surroundings. I can just remember how relax I was by just thinking about it.

The Samson crane barge at Ardmore in the County of Waterford

In 1987, off the coast of Waterford, pushed by the Gael, a massive crane barge from Liverpool crashed along the cliffs. Dangerous pollutants were removed soon after the barge went aground and the 2 men aboard were rescued so naturally, instead of removing the remains, why wouldn’t we make history? I suppose we have more to follow […]

Links to search for a mid to long term accommodation in Ireland

I’ve been suggested to translate this article in English as it has helped thousands to search up mid to long term accommodation already. Suggestion and preparation: Ireland is famous for its housing crisis. Let’s consider it as part of the culture. I recommend not to be too specific in your search terms as this drastically […]

Professors Curioso and Saci 2018

This video depicts a series of games between Professor Curioso and Professor Saci during “Inspiraçao” the Afro-Brazil Festival 2018 in Cork. This is the Cork Camará Batizado festival. More info on: What is Capoeira ? http://capoeiracork.com https://www.facebook.com/CapoeiraCork/

Conseils et préparations : La crise du logement en Irlande fait partit de la culture, évitez les recherches trop spécifiques qui réduisent les choix, n’hésitez pas. Préférez les visites […]

Blackrock Castle – Cork city

Let’s make a quick tour in the area of Cork, where a small but noticeable fortification has now been converted to an Observatory. Ideally reached with a bicycle, this castle has a restaurant as well and the coastal walk is actually beautiful.
