Niterói

Most will naturally go to Rio de Janeiro. Did you hear about the other side of this river? There you have Niterói and here is what you can expect

Rio Negro, Amazon and Manaus

Manaus is also famous for its rivers. Imagine, the Rio Negro is slightly warmer than the Amazon river. when they converge, they don’t mix straight away. Instead there is a sort of dance aside in a distance of 4 Kilometres. It is just impressive from the sky or from the surface. That’s not it. The […]

Manaus – 2018

The last big city before the wild Amazing Amazon looks like a movie set. On one side, Father Santa waits for you in a perfect occidental setup with its bars, skyscrapers, shopping malls and culture night. And on another side the expected life on the rhythm of the River and all local wonders. This city […]

Portrush and the Ulster before Brexit

This road looks familiar right? Compared to 10 years, everything was well revamped, well presented and I felt driving that people would actually care to maintain. There were a lot of investments in the north these days, specially in the tourism industry. Also, thanks to the beloved cinema industry who was so far a huge […]

Mizen Head: the west of the west

One of the most extreme west end of Ireland, the peninsula would be very exposed to maritime elements. I paid the entrance for you (I know…) and let you appreciate the view. I personally found it over built and worse was to start a massive block of concrete and leaving it unfinished. Worse, it’s seem […]

Kinsale 2017

Some souvenirs from this colourful place on the south coast of County Cork.

Giant Causeway are now real tourist attraction

First time I visited the place, you would park on the side of a tiny road and walk down the whole way on an old road. This last time was very much different. Visitor centre, outrageously expensive car park and path overused. The perfect receipt for success : is this the way we protect a […]

The Beara Peninsula

The the west of county Cork, the Beara Peninsula will charm you with its view, people and quiet surroundings. I can just remember how relax I was by just thinking about it.

Cork, sky, streets and river

I have found these view from Cork sad, dark, but also joyful and restful.

Sheep Head – West Cork – Ireland

The walk doesn’t take too long on the way in. The view feels limitless but plan more time on the way back if you take the other way, the difficulty is not the same.

Costal views from La Reunion

Doest Reunion Island has beautiful beaches, the answer is just below. This post doesn’t show the black sanded Ines but if you look more of my oldest posts you’ll find the rest.

Bray – Ireland

Quick walk on my lovely and well missed sea front of Bray Co. Wicklow in Ireland. That day was very dramatic between the agitated sea, the threatening sky, the wind and the famous Bray Head Hotel for Sale ?!?. Souvenirs from Bray are also here:  2011, 2012, …

Bonne Fet Caf !

Today is the respectful day that marks the abolition of slavery in reunion island. Here are some of my links and traces of the trip in 2014. Not to tell this place is definitely the best on earth! This video can prove it:

Sainte Suzanne et la cascade Niagara 2013

The “Niagara fall” in La Reunion is of course not the same size as the famous canadian water attraction. But be aware that during the wet season it could grow as big as the shape of the stone uncovered by the vegetation around.

Trop peu sur Saint-Paul

Definitely not enough pictures from the widest community of the french territory. I spend a few times over there and I was not able to have a good occasion to snap this lovely area…

Saint-Leu, La Réunion 2013

Kelonia, the beach and the relaxing colors, enjoy Saint-Leu. It’s actually still a good and famous place for surfers.

Saint Denis de La Réunion 2013

Quick pics on the way in Saint-Denis (Reunion Island). I usually shop here, connect a public service or go out with friends. It looks quiet when you don’t know how to lift the cover 🙂
