STAGE 1<\/strong><\/p>\n

2 X Stable Static line Descents (Video<\/a>)
\n3 X Dummy Ripcord Pulls (Video<\/a>)<\/p>\n

Test for Packing Certificate, wich includes an ability on the part of teh student to carry out a pre-jump check on a set of equipement, must be passed before progressing to freefall.<\/p>\n

1 X 3 Second freefall delay (see note)
\n1 X 5 Second freefall delay (Video<\/a>)
\n1 X 10 Second freefall delay
\n1 X 15 Second freefall delay
\n1 X 15 Second freefall delay using altimeter
\n1 X 20 Second freefall delay
\n1 X 20 Second freefall delay with unstable exit (video<\/a>)<\/p>\n

Having Successfully completed this jump, student may use equipment fitted with throaway pilot chute. The briefing for a new deployment procedure must include a minimum of 15 minuutes cutaway drill in a suspended harness.
\nMINIMUM OPENING ALTITUDE FOR STAGE ON JUMPS IS 3000 FEET<\/p>\n

STAGE 2<\/strong><\/p>\n

1 X 20 second freefall delay with dive exit. Aerial work to include locating and touching cutaway and reserve ripcord handle respectively during freefall.
\n1 X 20 second delay with Right 360 degrees turn
\n1 X 20 second delay with Left 360 degrees turn
\n1 X 20 second delay with Alternate turns
\n1 X 20 second delay with backloop, opening altitude to be 2500 feet<\/p>\n

MINIMUM OPENING ALTITUDE FOR STAGE TWO IS 3000 FEET,
\nWITH EXCEPTION OF THE LAST JUMP IN STAGE TWO,
\nWHEN THE OPENING ALTITUDE WILL BE 2500 FEET.<\/p>\n

STAGE 3<\/strong><\/p>\n

1 X 30 second delay with Track
\n1 X 30 second delay with ‘S’ Track
\n1 X 30 second delay with Wave-off and Max. Track
\n1 X 30 second delay, Half series, Wave-off and Max. Track
\n1 x Exit and deployment from 2500 feet<\/p>\n

MINIMUM OPENING ALTITUDE ON STAGE THREE JUMPS IS 2500 FEET<\/p>\n

NOTE: <\/strong>
\nThe Briefing for freefall must be rigorus and include the following:
\n1. Adequate explaination of the deployment sequence for operating main parachute
\n2. Explainations of additionnal malfunctions that can occur on freefal equipment and how to deal with each.
\n3. A minimum of 15 minutes cutaway drill in suspended harness.<\/p>\n

ALL BRIEFING DURONG THE STUDENT’S PROGRESSION MUST BE SIGNED OFF AS COMPLETED IN THE STUDENT’S LOGBOOK.<\/p>\n
