Last rodas for Giraffa in Ireland

Quick snaps of the good vibe created by “Nacao Zumbi Angola roda grupo Capoeira” last Saturday, in the lantern centre, Dublin.
Let me describe it in few pictures:


(the difference with me and a real photograph comes when the hardware work when needed: I only blame myself)
Oh yeah, part of the show was animated by the group Centro Cultural Capoeira Água de Beber (CECAB) Graduado Mamão (Fantastic Berimbau player) you can contact him or Beleza if you need some Self defense or Jujitsu courses.

Here is the Irish Troca de Corda.
This event took place in Dublin in October.
It becomes a big event, great organization according to the amount of people to manage, the different locations and activities.
After 8 year everybody should say: normal, … well no it is the best way not to be as good as they were.

Great thanks again for the Belt this year.

These are the pic from the Diner. The final (look how people look fresh) :D

I know it is quite old but I was a bit busy these days.

Here are the quick shots made that lovely day. Hope you will enjoy it.

This session was a street performance, the club is very open to the different types of dance, I mean fight.

Another moment of pure magic for any capoeirista in Ireland.

This year the Troca de Corda (the moment to change the belt) is programmed for the 10, 11 and 12th of October 2008.

Come on and share the Brazilian experience through the:
- FRIDAY the 10th:Opening festival In Byrne hall (Synge street, Dublin 8) and enjoy the Roda from 19H00 to 22h00
- SATURDAY the 11th: Capoeira, Samba and percussion workshops in St. Catherine’s, Community Sports Centre, Marrowbone Lane, Dublin8 . From 11h00 to 17h00
+ BRAZILIAN DINNER – Sat. 11th Oct. 7.30pm
- SUNDAY the 12th:Batizado et “Troca de Corda” from 12h00 to 16h00 Open to the public – Free Admission
+ a furious Brazilian Night in the Back room – The Cobblestone from 21h00
